Coachwell is established by the former Finnish Shooting Association Head Coach
Kimmo Yli-Jaskari in the beginning of the year 2001. It is specializing in the
coaching, training and educational services among the Shooting Sports.
Yli-Jaskari as a Head Coach was the responsible person of the international top
level shooting in Finland. He was in charge of all the major disciplines: rifle,
pistol, running target and clay target. In his supervision Finland raised to
number 6. in the World Championships medal chart in Barcelona 1998. During his
period Finland achieved also an Olympic medal in the Sydney 2000 Olympics after
16 years of pause not to mention the numerous medals from the European and World
Championships won by the Finnish Shooting Team.
Earlier he was taking care of the Coach education and Junior shooting in the
Finnish Shooting Association. He worked in the Association during the years
1988-2000.
Kimmo Yli-Jaskari is one of the 10 persons in the World who have achieved the
ISSF Coaches A -license. He is also an ISSF Training Academy Instructor.
Yli-Jaskari has been a personal coach to a large number of shooters and recently
worked as the Head Coach of the Finnish Olympic Shooting Team in the Sydney 2000
Olympics.
He is a Master of Science (Physical Education) from the Jyväskylä University
and he has a Professional Coaches Degree from the Finnish Sports Institute. His
own special area is rifle shooting.
